Activity Log
Activity Log allows you to view the history of actions that were performed by you or your colleagues on your account.
The Activity Log section is located in the Tools tab.

When viewing the Event Logging section, the user sees a list of actions - there are 3 types:
Event | Description |
---|---|
Create | Creating an entity. |
Edit | Editing an entity. |
Archive | Deleting an entity. |

Each event has the following information:
Column | Description |
---|---|
ID | Identifier of an event in TheViewPoint system. |
Date & Time | The time of the event. |
User | The user that implemented this action. |
Entity | The space in which this action was executed. |
Name | The name of the entity that was changed. |
Type | Type of event. |
Changes | List of changes, with the event type “Edit“. All changes will be recorded in this line in the “old value of a field or setting“ → “new value of a field or setting“ format. |
Filtering events:
If you need to find a specific event from a large history of changes, use the filters:
All user - filter events by a particular employee, leaving only his/her actions in the list of events;
All entity - filter events by a required space, leaving only the changes mane within the selected space in the list of events;
All types - filter events by the desired action type, such as Create / Edit / Archive.
If you need to find a specific event in the desired time range, use the date picker
Manually select the time period by selecting the start and end date;
Select a custom range by choosing one of the available options in the predefined drop-down list.
Option to switch to Event Logging from any placement
To do this, while viewing any entity, click on the icon that is indicated in the screenshot.
